Composition:
Each uncoated tablet contains:

Ramipril IP – 5 mg ,Excipients – q.s.

Description:
Rami Race 5 mg Tablet contains Ramipril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used for the management of hypertension and heart failure.
It works by inhibiting the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, leading to vasodilation, reduced blood pressure, and decreased cardiac workload.
Ramipril also helps protect kidney function in diabetic and hypertensive patients.

Warnings and Precautions:

For oral use only.

Use with caution in patients with renal impairment, aortic stenosis, or volume depletion.

Contraindicated in pregnancy (risk of fetal toxicity).

Monitor serum potassium and renal function regularly.

Avoid concurrent use with potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics unless prescribed.

May cause hypotension after the first dose — start under medical supervision.

Adverse Effects:

Dizziness, fatigue, headache

Dry cough (ACE inhibitor–induced)

Hypotension, hyperkalemia

Rarely: Angioedema, rash, or renal dysfunction
