Rebel 20 Tabs (20X10) Rabeprazole Sodium 20Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Rabeprazole is used to reduce excess stomach acid and treat acidity, heartburn, acid reflux (GERD) and stomach or duodenal ulcers. It may also be used with antibiotics to help treat H. pylori infection, when prescribed.

How does it work?
It reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining. This helps relieve heartburn and allows acid-related irritation and ulcers to heal.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Follow the prescribed instructions about when to take it and do not stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain and gas.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about allergies, liver disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and all other medicines being taken. Long-term use may require medical monitoring and can affect vitamin B12 or magnesium levels. Seek medical advice for severe or persistent diarrhoea, unusual muscle cramps, severe rash, or signs of an allergic reaction.
