Composition:

Minoxidil — 5% w/v, Finasteride — 0.1% v/v, Vehicle (solution) q.s.

Description:

Retro F is a combination topical formulation used for treating male-pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia).

Minoxidil, a vasodilator, stimulates hair follicle growth by increasing blood flow and prolonging the anagen (growth) phase.

Finasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, reduces the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT)—a hormone linked to hair follicle miniaturization—thus slowing hair loss.

Precautions:

Apply only to a clean and dry scalp.

Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, or broken / inflamed skin.

Overuse or application on unintended areas may cause side effects.

Use consistently and long-term; hair shedding may temporarily increase in early weeks.

Not suitable for women, especially during pregnancy (risk of birth defects in male fetus).

May cause sexual side effects; use only under medical supervision.

Avoid concurrent use with other finasteride / hormone therapy unless prescribed.

Keep away from fire—solution may be flammable.

Adverse Effects:

Scalp irritation, burning, itching
