ROKO Capsule (Loperamide 2 Mg)

Composition:
Each capsule contains:

Loperamide Hydrochloride IP 2 mg

Description:
ROKO Capsule contains Loperamide, an antidiarrheal agent used to control acute and chronic diarrhea.
It works by slowing intestinal motility, allowing increased absorption of fluids and electrolytes, which helps reduce the frequency and urgency of bowel movements. It is also useful in the management of travelers’ diarrhea and diarrhea associated with irritable bowel syndrome.

Warnings and Precautions:

Use as directed by a physician; avoid exceeding the recommended dose.

Not recommended in children under 2 years without medical advice.

Avoid use in cases of bloody diarrhea, high fever, or bacterial enterocolitis.

Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment.

Stop use and consult a doctor if diarrhea persists more than 2 days or worsens.

Adverse Effects:
Constipation, nausea, abdominal cramps, dizziness, or dry mouth. Rarely, allergic reactions may occur.

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture.
