Description:

Ronflox D Eye Drops combine a broad-spectrum antibiotic (Ofloxacin), a potent corticosteroid (Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate), and a lubricant (HPMC) to provide anti-infective, anti-inflammatory, and soothing effects in ocular conditions.
This combination helps treat bacterial eye infections accompanied by inflammation, redness, and discomfort, while also maintaining tear film stability and ocular comfort.

Dosage & Administration:

Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4–6 hours or as directed by a physician.

In severe infections, frequency may be increased to every 2 hours during the first 24–48 hours, then reduced as improvement occurs.

Shake well before use.

Continue therapy for the prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve earlier.

For ophthalmic use only.

Warnings & Precautions:

Prolonged use may lead to secondary infections, ocular hypertension, or glaucoma.

Monitor intraocular pressure (IOP) with extended corticosteroid use.

Use cautiously in diabetic patients and those with a history of eye pressure disorders.

Discontinue if hypersensitivity reactions (itching, swelling, redness) occur.

Avoid contact lenses during active infection and treatment.

For topical ophthalmic use only — not for injection.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Transient burning, stinging, irritation, blurred vision.

Less common: Redness, photophobia, ocular dryness, tearing.

Prolonged use: Possible increased intraocular pressure, posterior subcapsular cataract, delayed wound healing, or secondary fungal infection.
