What is it used for?
This combination is used under medical supervision to lower high cholesterol and help reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke, especially in people with established heart disease or other cardiovascular risk.

How does it work?
Rosuvastatin lowers the liver’s production of cholesterol, reducing harmful LDL cholesterol. Aspirin reduces platelet clumping, helping prevent harmful blood clots.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice. Taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset.

Common side effects
Indigestion, nausea, stomach discomfort, easy bruising or bleeding, headache, and muscle aches may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, liver or kidney disease, asthma triggered by painkillers, or previous aspirin/statin reactions. Avoid using other painkillers such as ibuprofen or additional aspirin unless advised. Seek urgent medical help for unusual or persistent bleeding, black stools, vomiting blood, severe muscle pain or weakness, or dark urine. Rosuvastatin should not be used during pregnancy; inform the doctor if pregnant or planning pregnancy.
