S-Amlo 5 Tabs (10X10) S-Amlodipine 5 Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
S-Amlodipine is used to treat high blood pressure. It may also be prescribed to help prevent chest pain caused by angina.

How does it work?
It relaxes and widens the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily. This lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart.

How to take/use it
Take it by mouth exactly as prescribed, with or without food. Take it at about the same time each day and do not change the dose or stop it without medical advice.

Common side effects
Swelling of the feet or ankles, headache, dizziness, flushing, tiredness, palpitations and nausea may occur.

Precautions
Use only under medical advice if there is very low blood pressure, liver disease or a heart condition. Dizziness may occur, especially when starting treatment; take care while driving or standing up. Inform the doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding. Seek medical help for severe dizziness, fainting, breathing difficulty or swelling of the face or lips.
