SALMEFLU INHALER (Salmeterol and Fulticasone Propionate Inhalation I.P)

Composition:
Each metered dose contains Salmeterol and Fluticasone Propionate in appropriate strengths as per I.P. specifications, along with suitable propellants and excipients.

Description:
Salmeflu Inhaler is a combination inhalation therapy indicated for the maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Salmeterol is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist that provides prolonged bronchodilation, while Fluticasone Propionate is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation. The combination helps in improving lung function, preventing exacerbations, and controlling symptoms such as wheezing, breathlessness, and chest tightness.

Precautions:
Not intended for the relief of acute bronchospasm. Use under medical supervision. Patients with cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, infections, or tuberculosis should consult a healthcare professional before use. Rinse mouth after inhalation to reduce the risk of oral candidiasis. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.

Adverse Effects:
Common side effects may include throat irritation, hoarseness, oral fungal infection, headache, tremor, or palpitations. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions or paradoxical bronchospasm may occur.

Storage:
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight and heat. Do not puncture or expose the inhaler to high temperatures. Keep out of reach of children.
