What is it used for?
Sunscreen SPF 50 helps protect the skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation and helps prevent sunburn during sun exposure. It also helps reduce sun-related skin damage when used with shade and protective clothing.

How does it work?
It forms a protective layer on the skin that absorbs, reflects or scatters UV radiation. SPF 50 mainly indicates high protection against UVB rays that cause sunburn; protection against UVA depends on the product formulation.

How to take/use it
Apply generously and evenly to exposed skin before sun exposure, following the product label. Reapply as directed, especially after swimming, sweating or towel-drying. Use along with shade, protective clothing and sunglasses; sunscreen does not provide complete protection from the sun.

Common side effects
Skin irritation, redness, itching or rash may occur. Contact with the eyes may cause temporary irritation.

Precautions
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and damaged skin; rinse well with water if it enters the eyes. Stop use if severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight and seek medical advice before using sunscreen on infants under 6 months. Follow the product label and do not rely on sunscreen alone for sun protection.
