What is it used for?
This medicine is used to relieve vertigo (a spinning or whirling sensation) and the nausea or vomiting associated with it.

How does it work?
Cinnarizine helps reduce abnormal signals from the inner ear that can cause dizziness. Domperidone helps control nausea and vomiting by improving movement in the upper digestive system.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Swallow with water and do not take more than the recommended amount. Avoid self-treatment for prolonged or recurring dizziness.

Common side effects
Sleepiness or drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, stomach discomfort, abdominal cramps or diarrhoea may occur.

Precautions
This medicine may cause drowsiness; avoid driving, operating machinery and alcohol if affected. Tell the doctor about heart rhythm problems, heart disease, liver or kidney problems, Parkinson’s disease, or use of medicines that can affect heart rhythm. Seek medical advice before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Domperidone should be used at the lowest effective dose and for the shortest duration advised.
