What is it used for?
Used to relieve pain and discomfort caused by acid-related stomach conditions, such as gastritis, peptic ulcers and heartburn.

How does it work?
Sucralfate forms a protective coating over irritated or ulcerated areas in the stomach and intestine. Oxetacaine is a local anaesthetic that helps reduce pain in the affected area.

How to take/use it
Shake the suspension well before use and measure it with a proper measuring device. Take it exactly as prescribed. Sucralfate can affect the absorption of other medicines, so ask a doctor or pharmacist about separating this medicine from other medicines.

Common side effects
Constipation, dry mouth, nausea, dizziness or temporary numbness in the mouth or throat may occur.
