Sucratas- O Suspension (Sucralfate 1000 mg + Oxetacaine 10 mg)

Composition:

Each 10 ml contains:

Sucralfate IP 1000 mg, Oxetacaine (Oxethazaine) 10 mg

Description:

Sucratas-O Suspension is a combination of Sucralfate, a gastroprotective agent, and Oxetacaine, a potent topical anaesthetic.
It is used for the management of gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, and severe acidity.
Sucralfate forms a protective coating over the ulcer surface, while Oxetacaine provides immediate pain relief from hyperacidity and ulcer-related discomfort.

Warnings & Precautions:

Avoid in severe renal impairment (risk of aluminium accumulation).

Maintain 2-hour gap between this medicine and other oral drugs to prevent reduced absorption.

Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding—consult doctor.

Do not use in suspected intestinal blockage or severe vomiting.

Adverse Effects:

Constipation

Nausea

Dry mouth

Mild dizziness

Rare: Hypersensitivity reactions

Very rare: Aluminium toxicity in renal impairment
