Sucralfate IP 1 g

Description:

Sucratas Syrup contains Sucralfate, a gastroprotective agent used to treat and prevent gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and gastritis.
It works by forming a protective barrier over ulcerated and inflamed areas of the stomach lining, promoting healing and providing relief from acidity-related symptoms.

Warnings & Precautions:

Not recommended in patients with severe kidney impairment (risk of aluminium accumulation).

Maintain at least 2 hours gap from other medications as Sucralfate may alter their absorption.

Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding—consult a doctor.

Avoid prolonged use without medical supervision.

Adverse Effects:

Constipation (most common)

Dry mouth

Nausea

Indigestion

Rare: Hypersensitivity reactions

Storage:

Store below 25°C, in a cool and dry place.

Protect from light and moisture.

Keep tightly closed after use.
