Description

Taceedo RTU 80 is a ready-to-use formulation of Docetaxel, a taxane chemotherapy agent used in breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, gastric cancer, and head & neck cancers. It works by stabilizing microtubules, preventing cell division, and causing cancer cell death.

Precautions

Use only under the supervision of an oncologist.
Corticosteroid pre-medication is required to reduce allergic reactions and fluid retention.
Regular monitoring of blood counts and liver function is necessary.
Avoid use in severe liver impairment.
Report fever, severe weakness, numbness, swelling, or breathing difficulty immediately.
Avoid pregnancy and breastfeeding during treatment.
Do not take live vaccines during therapy.

Adverse Effects

Neutropenia, anemia, low platelet count.
Hair loss, fatigue.
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Peripheral neuropathy (numbness/tingling).
Mouth ulcers.
Fluid retention and edema.
Rare: severe allergic reactions, liver toxicity, febrile neutropenia.

Storage

Store between 2–25°C. Do not freeze.
Protect from light.
Keep vial in outer carton.
Keep out of reach of children.
