DescriptionTaggrel 90 is an antiplatelet medicine belonging to the P2Y₁₂ receptor inhibitor class. It prevents platelet aggregation by reversibly blocking the ADP receptor on platelets. It is used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, or cardiovascular death in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or a history of myocardial infarction, usually prescribed along with low-dose aspirin.
Precautions / WarningsIncreased risk of bleeding; avoid in patients with active bleeding or history of intracranial hemorrhage.
Use with caution in patients with liver impairment.
May cause shortness of breath (dyspnea).
Can cause bradycardia or heart rhythm disturbances in susceptible individuals.
Should not be combined with high-dose aspirin (>100 mg/day).
Avoid abrupt discontinuation unless advised by a physician
