Teicoplanin 200 mg per vial

Description:

TECOTECH-200 Vial contains Teicoplanin, a glycopeptide antibiotic used for treating serious Gram-positive bacterial infections, including MRSA, enterococci, and streptococci. It is indicated for septicemia, endocarditis, bone and joint infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and lower respiratory tract infections. Teicoplanin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death.

Precautions:

TECOTECH-200 should be administered under medical supervision. Caution is advised in patients with renal impairment, pre-existing hearing loss, or hypersensitivity to glycopeptide antibiotics. Dose adjustment may be necessary in renal dysfunction, and renal function should be monitored. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if clearly prescribed. Inform the physician of all medications being taken, especially nephrotoxic or ototoxic drugs.

Adverse Effects:

Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, rash, fever, chills, and injection site reactions. Rarely, nephrotoxicity, ototoxicity, hypotension, and blood abnormalities may occur. Severe allergic reactions are very rare.

Storage:

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Reconstitute according to instructions and use within the recommended timeframe. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
