Description:

Telmistrong 20 contains Telmisartan, an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB) that helps manage mild to moderate hypertension.
It acts by blocking angiotensin II (AT₁) receptors, preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion, resulting in vasodilation, reduced vascular resistance, and lower blood pressure.
By improving vascular health, it also provides cardio-renal protection and helps reduce the long-term risk of cardiovascular complications.

Warnings & Precautions:

Monitor blood pressure, serum potassium, and renal function periodically.

Hypotension may occur in volume- or salt-depleted individuals.

Hyperkalemia risk increases with potassium supplements, salt substitutes, or potassium-sparing diuretics.

Caution in renal impairment, heart failure, or hepatic dysfunction.

Discontinue immediately if pregnancy is detected.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Dizziness, hypotension, fatigue

Less common: Headache, diarrhea, back pain

Rare: Hyperkalemia, renal impairment, angioedema, elevated liver enzymes
