What is it used for?
This medicine is used to treat high blood pressure. Controlling blood pressure helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular complications.

How does it work?
Telmisartan relaxes and widens blood vessels, while bisoprolol slows the heart rate and reduces the heart's workload. Together, they help lower blood pressure.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed and swallow it whole with water. It may be taken with or without food, but taking it at the same time each day can help maintain regular use. Do not stop it suddenly without medical advice.

Common side effects
Dizziness, tiredness, headache, slow heartbeat, low blood pressure and cold hands or feet may occur. Contact a doctor if side effects are severe or persistent.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about kidney or liver disease, diabetes, asthma or other breathing problems, a slow heartbeat, low blood pressure, or circulation problems. Avoid potassium supplements or potassium-containing salt substitutes unless advised by a doctor. This medicine should not be used during pregnancy unless specifically prescribed; inform the doctor if pregnant or planning pregnancy. Rise slowly if dizziness occurs, and seek medical help for fainting, severe breathing difficulty or swelling of the face or throat.
