What is it used for?
Monosulfiram 5% Soap is used on the skin to treat scabies, a contagious infestation caused by tiny mites.

How does it work?
It acts as a scabicide, helping to kill scabies mites on the skin.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Use the soap exactly as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas, and wash hands after use. Do not use on broken or severely irritated skin unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Skin irritation, redness, burning, itching, dryness or rash may occur.

Precautions
Avoid swallowing the soap. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or an allergic rash develops. Keep away from children. Scabies can spread through close contact, so household members may also need medical assessment.
