Thrombo Gel (20Gm) Heparin Sodium 50Iu, Benzyl Nicotinate 2%,Sorbic Acid 1.97 Gel by Elder

What is it used for?
Used on the skin to help relieve bruising, swelling and discomfort from minor soft-tissue injuries, and to support treatment of superficial inflammation or clotting in veins, such as superficial thrombophlebitis. It is not a treatment for deep vein thrombosis.

How does it work?
Heparin helps reduce clot formation in superficial tissues and veins. Benzyl nicotinate increases local blood flow, which may help reduce congestion and support absorption of bruising.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, intact skin as directed by a doctor or the product label. Gently spread it without vigorous massage, especially over a painful or inflamed vein. Do not apply to open wounds, broken or infected skin, eyes or mucous membranes. Wash hands after use.

Common side effects
Mild skin irritation, redness, itching, burning or rash at the application site. Stop using it if severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to heparin or any ingredient. Avoid use on open wounds or bleeding skin. Seek medical advice before use if there is a bleeding disorder, low platelet count, or use of blood-thinning medicines. Seek urgent medical care for sudden leg swelling, severe pain, chest pain or breathing difficulty.
