Thrombotas Cream 20Gm (Heparin Sodium 50Iu + Benzyl Nicotinate 2Mg /G) By Intas

What is it used for?
Used on the skin to help relieve symptoms associated with superficial vein inflammation, minor bruising and local swelling. It should not be used as a substitute for medical treatment of a suspected deep-vein clot.

How does it work?
Heparin helps reduce clotting in small superficial blood vessels. Benzyl nicotinate widens small blood vessels and may produce a temporary warming or reddening sensation.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, intact skin and spread gently. Follow the product label or a healthcare professional’s instructions for how often and how long to use it. Do not rub vigorously over a painful or swollen vein.

Common side effects
Mild skin redness, warmth, itching, burning or irritation at the application site. Local bruising or bleeding may rarely occur.

Precautions
Do not apply to open wounds, broken or infected skin, mucous membranes or near the eyes. Avoid use if allergic to heparin or any ingredient. Use medical advice if taking blood-thinning medicines or if there is a bleeding disorder. Seek urgent medical help for sudden one-sided leg swelling or pain, chest pain or breathing difficulty.
