What is it used for?
Tolperisone is a muscle relaxant used to relieve painful muscle stiffness, spasms and tightness, including those related to musculoskeletal conditions.

How does it work?
It reduces excessive nerve signals that cause muscles to tighten, helping relax stiff or spasming muscles.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed by a doctor. Swallow the tablet with water, preferably after food. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Dizziness, headache, muscle weakness, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort and diarrhoea may occur.

Precautions
Do not use it if allergic to tolperisone or similar medicines. Stop taking it and seek urgent medical help if signs of an allergy occur, such as rash, swelling of the face or throat, breathing difficulty or severe dizziness. Use only with medical advice during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and inform the doctor about kidney or liver problems or myasthenia gravis. Avoid driving or operating machinery if dizzy or weak.
