Tranexamic Acid IP – 250 mg,Etamsylate IP – 250 mg

Description:

Trantas-EM Tablet contains a combination of Tranexamic Acid and Etamsylate, used to control excessive or abnormal bleeding.

Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic agent that prevents the breakdown of blood clots.

Etamsylate improves platelet adhesion and capillary stability, helping reduce bleeding.

It is commonly used in:

Menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding)

Post-surgical bleeding

Epistaxis (nosebleeds)

Dental procedures

Bleeding disorders

Warnings and Precautions:

Avoid use in patients with:

Active thromboembolic disease (DVT, PE, thrombosis)

History of stroke or clotting disorders

Severe kidney impairment

Use cautiously in patients on anticoagulants.

Discontinue and seek medical advice if visual disturbances occur (rare).

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed.
