What is it used for?
This medicine is commonly used to reduce excessive bleeding, especially heavy menstrual bleeding. It may also be prescribed for other bleeding conditions when directed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Tranexamic acid helps prevent blood clots from breaking down too quickly. Ethamsylate helps strengthen small blood vessels and supports the body's natural clotting process.

How to take/use it

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, headache, dizziness and skin rash may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about any history of blood clots, kidney problems, vision problems or unexplained irregular bleeding. Seek medical help urgently for chest pain, breathlessness, sudden leg swelling or pain, unusual vision changes, or signs of a severe allergic reaction.
