Trantas- Mf Tab (Tranexamic Acid 500 mg + Mefenamic Acid 250 mg)

Composition (Each film-coated tablet contains):

Tranexamic Acid IP – 500 mg, Mefenamic Acid IP – 250 mg

Description:

Trantas-MF Tablet is a combination of Tranexamic Acid (an antifibrinolytic) and Mefenamic Acid (an NSAID).
It is used primarily for the management of heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia) with associated pain or dysmenorrhea.

Common indications:

Heavy menstrual bleeding

Painful menstruation

Bleeding associated with intrauterine devices (as advised by physician)

Post-procedural bleeding with pain (as directed)

Warnings and Precautions:

Use cautiously in patients with:

Hypertension

Heart disease

History of clotting disorders

Avoid alcohol while on therapy.

Not recommended in pregnancy/breastfeeding unless prescribed.

Adverse Effects:

Nausea, vomiting

Gastric irritation, abdominal pain

Headache, dizziness

Diarrhea

Rare: visual disturbances, thrombotic events, allergic reactions

Storage:

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place.
