Traxanel Inj (5X5X5Ml) Tranexamic Acid 100Mg Inj by Elder

What is it used for?
Tranexamic acid injection is used to prevent or reduce excessive bleeding, including bleeding during or after surgery, childbirth, injury, dental procedures, or heavy menstrual bleeding. It is given when treatment by injection is considered necessary.

How does it work?
It helps prevent blood clots from breaking down too quickly. This supports the body in stopping bleeding.

How to take/use it
This injection must be given by a doctor or nurse, usually into a vein. The dose and treatment duration depend on the cause and severity of bleeding, kidney function, and medical condition. It should not be self-administered.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, and low blood pressure if the injection is given too quickly.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about any history of blood clots, kidney disease, seizures, or problems with colour vision. Seek urgent medical help for chest pain, sudden breathlessness, painful swelling in a leg, seizures, or changes in vision. It may not be suitable in some conditions involving abnormal blood clotting and should be used only under medical supervision.
