Traxanel Mf Tabs (500/250Mg) (10X1X10) Tranexamic 500Mg, Mefenamic 250Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
This combination is used to reduce heavy menstrual bleeding and relieve period pain.

How does it work?
Tranexamic acid helps prevent the breakdown of blood clots, reducing menstrual blood loss. Mefenamic acid reduces the substances that cause pain, inflammation and menstrual cramps.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor. It is generally taken during menstrual bleeding and should be swallowed with water, preferably with or after food. Do not take more than the prescribed amount.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, indigestion, stomach pain, headache and dizziness.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about a history of blood clots, kidney disease, stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding. Avoid use if allergic to mefenamic acid, tranexamic acid or similar medicines. Do not combine with other painkillers such as ibuprofen or aspirin unless advised by a doctor. Seek urgent medical help for chest pain, sudden breathlessness, leg swelling or vision changes.
