What is it used for?
Used for the short-term treatment of melasma, a condition causing dark or brown patches on the face. It should be used only when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Hydroquinone reduces melanin production, helping lighten dark patches. Tretinoin increases skin cell turnover, while mometasone reduces skin inflammation and irritation.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as prescribed. Avoid the eyes, lips, inside of the nose and broken or irritated skin. Wash hands after applying. Use sun protection and avoid unnecessary sunlight during treatment.

Common side effects
Redness, burning, stinging, dryness, peeling, itching and skin irritation may occur. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning, visible small blood vessels or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Use only under medical supervision and do not use for longer than prescribed. Avoid other irritating skin products unless advised by a doctor. Stop and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling, blistering or worsening skin changes occur. Avoid use during pregnancy unless specifically approved by a doctor; consult a doctor before use while breastfeeding. Keep away from children and do not apply to infected skin.
