Composition:

Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 60,000 IU per ampoule

Description:

BONTEC contains high-strength Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) used for the treatment and prevention of Vitamin D deficiency. It helps in maintaining healthy bones, improving calcium absorption and supporting immune and muscle function. It is commonly used in conditions such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia, weak bones, fatigue related to Vitamin D deficiency and for general supplementation in individuals with low Vitamin D levels.

Precautions:

BONTEC should be used as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Caution is required in patients with kidney disorders, hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, kidney stones or those taking calcium supplements. Excessive intake may lead to Vitamin D toxicity, so dosing should not exceed the recommended schedule. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use it only if advised by a doctor. Inform your healthcare provider about all ongoing medications, especially antacids, diuretics or anticonvulsants.

Adverse Effects:

Generally well tolerated, but high doses may sometimes cause nausea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, increased thirst, increased urination or elevated calcium levels. Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash or itching may occur if sensitive to ingredients.

Storage:

Store below 25°C, protected from sunlight and moisture. Keep ampoules in the original packaging. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
