Voglib 0.3 Tab (10X10) Voglibose 0.3Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Voglibose 0.3 mg is used with diet and exercise to help control high blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes, especially the rise in blood sugar after meals.

How does it work?
It slows the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates in the intestine. This helps reduce the rise in blood sugar after eating.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, usually immediately before a meal. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice. If a meal is skipped, follow the prescriber's instructions.

Common side effects
Gas, bloating, abdominal discomfort or pain, diarrhoea, constipation, nausea and indigestion.

Precautions
Use only under medical advice if there is a blockage or serious disease of the intestine, or significant kidney or liver problems. The risk of low blood sugar may increase when used with insulin or other diabetes medicines. If low blood sugar occurs while using voglibose, use glucose or dextrose rather than table sugar (sucrose), as sucrose may work more slowly. Seek medical advice for severe or persistent abdominal symptoms.
