Domperidone IP 10 mg

Description:
Vomistop Tablet contains Domperidone, a dopamine D₂ receptor antagonist that helps relieve nausea, vomiting, bloating, and gastric discomfort.
It works by enhancing gastrointestinal motility and blocking dopamine receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone, thereby preventing vomiting and promoting faster stomach emptying.

Warnings and Precautions:

Use only under medical supervision.

Contraindicated in patients with moderate to severe hepatic impairment, prolactin-releasing pituitary tumors (prolactinomas), or known QT prolongation.

Should not be used with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole, erythromycin).

Use with caution in patients with cardiac conditions, as it may increase the risk of arrhythmias.

Avoid use during pregnancy or lactation unless prescribed.

Adverse Effects:
Dry mouth, abdominal cramps, headache, dizziness, or somnolence.
Rarely, palpitations or allergic reactions may occur.
