Vonotrel 20 Tab (10X10T) Vonoprazan 20 Mg By Cadila

What is it used for?
Vonoprazan reduces excess stomach acid and is mainly used to treat acid reflux, heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including acid-related irritation or damage of the food pipe. It may also be prescribed for other acid-related conditions.

How does it work?
Vonoprazan blocks the final step in stomach acid production. This lowers acidity and helps relieve acid reflux symptoms and allows acid-related irritation to heal.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the tablet with water; it may generally be taken with or without food. Do not change the dose or treatment duration without medical advice.

Common side effects
Diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, stomach pain, gas and headache.

Precautions
Do not use if there has been a previous allergic reaction to vonoprazan. Inform the doctor about liver disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and all other medicines being taken. Seek medical advice for persistent or worsening symptoms, difficulty swallowing, vomiting blood or black stools. Long-term use should be monitored by a doctor.
