What is it used for?
Diclofenac topical spray is used to relieve pain and inflammation in muscles and joints, such as sprains, strains and arthritis-related pain.

How does it work?
It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) that reduces the production of substances causing pain and inflammation.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply to the affected skin as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Do not apply to cuts, wounds, infected skin or near the eyes and mouth. Wash hands after use unless the hands are being treated.

Common side effects
Skin irritation, redness, itching, dryness or rash at the application site. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe skin reactions occur.

Precautions
Avoid use if allergic to diclofenac, aspirin or other NSAIDs. Do not use on broken or irritated skin, or under a tight dressing unless advised. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Ask a doctor before use during pregnancy, especially during the last 3 months, or if there is a history of asthma or NSAID-related reactions. Stop using it if breathing difficulty, facial swelling or widespread rash develops.
