What is it used for?
Used to treat certain infectious diarrhoea and loose motions, including some bacterial or parasitic intestinal infections. It may also help relieve gas-related bloating associated with these symptoms. Use only when prescribed by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Ofloxacin and metronidazole act against certain bacteria and parasites that can cause intestinal infections. Simethicone helps combine gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, making gas easier to pass.

How to take/use it
Use only in the dose and for the duration prescribed. Shake the suspension well before use and measure it with the supplied measuring device. Complete the prescribed course, even if symptoms improve. Maintain adequate fluids during diarrhoea unless otherwise advised.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, headache, dizziness, metallic taste, and temporary changes in bowel movements may occur.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to ofloxacin, metronidazole, or similar medicines. Use only under medical advice in children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, liver disease, seizure disorders, or a history of tendon problems. Avoid alcohol during treatment with metronidazole and for at least 48 hours after the last dose. Seek medical help for severe or persistent diarrhoea, blood in the stools, dehydration, rash, breathing difficulty, seizures, or tendon pain or swelling.
