Composition (Each film-coated tablet contains):

Ofloxacin IP – 200 mg,Ornidazole IP – 500 mg

Description:

Zenotas-OZ Tablet is a combination antimicrobial medicine used to treat acute diarrheal infections, dysentery, and mixed bacterial–protozoal gastrointestinal infections.

Together, they provide broad coverage against bacterial and protozoal pathogens, making the combination highly effective for GI infections.

Warnings and Precautions:

Contraindicated in patients allergic to fluoroquinolones or nitroimidazole derivatives.

Use cautiously in patients with liver dysfunction or history of seizures.

Avoid alcohol during treatment and for 48 hours after completion due to risk of a disulfiram-like reaction (headache, flushing, vomiting).

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.

Avoid unnecessary sun exposure (mild photosensitivity possible with Ofloxacin).

Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.

Adverse Effects:

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps

Metallic taste, dry mouth

Dizziness, headache

Loss of appetite

Rare: tendon pain, neuropathy, allergic reactions

Seek medical attention if severe diarrhea, rash, or persistent vomiting occurs.

Storage:

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place.

Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.

Keep tablets in their original packaging.

Keep out of reach of children.
